Volunteers Needed
It’s that time of the year again when some Board Positions are expiring. We would like to ask you to contribute by becoming a part of the SLRGS Board. Our club is run completely by volunteers. It is the participation of members that keeps SLRGS vibrant and robust.
We are going to try something new this year by creating a Board Member Assistant position, thereby, minimizing the burden on any one person. This way we hope to increase member involvement and have a greater representation in the running of our club.
The terms are two years and it is not necessary to be a full-time resident.
Please email SLRGSTreasurer@gmail.com if you have any interest in running for a board position or assisting one of our board members. We will be nominating candidates in January 2018 and SLRGS elections are held during the February 19th General Meeting. The term will start March 1, 2018.
